Morning magic mushrooms
Lately, all sorts of magic have been appearing in my garden. After a good rain, fairy rings and towering toadstools seem to spring up overnight. In the forest, the hidden mycelium network—the underground web of fungi—acts like a secret communication system for the trees, quietly passing messages beneath our feet. Each morning, I wander out with my cup of tea to see which new fungal friends have surfaced, to find my garden has been busy weaving its own quiet enchantments while I slept.
